Abstract

This article presents a literature review on modern methods applied to predictive maintenance and advanced diagnostics of industrial gas turbines. A qualitative, descriptive, and documentary approach was adopted, based on academic sources from 2013 to 2024. Key technologies identified include industrial borescopy, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and thermal efficiency testing, alongside emerging trends such as artificial intelligence and digital twins. Combining traditional and intelligent methods enhances maintenance efficiency. The study recommends further applied research in Latin American contexts, where the adoption of these technologies remains limited
