About the Journal

Pensagora MD Scientific Journal, established with the purpose of promoting scientific dissemination through the publication of exclusive works using systematic and regulated methods. The publications are presented in a digital open-access edition, of a scientific nature, evaluated by the editorial committee and externally reviewed by expert peers anonymously through the "double-blind" peer review method. The journal follows a four-month publication cycle, disseminating research conducted in various specialized fields of knowledge.

Objective and Scope
The Pensagora MD Scientific Journal is based on multidisciplinary sciences across various specialties and levels, forming its theoretical foundations. It promotes scientific and academic publications developed under the characteristic parameters of research methodology. The journal is available to national and international authors who wish to make a significant contribution to solving current problems.

Open Access Policy
This is an open-access publication with no time restrictions, meaning that all materials are available to users and their institutions free of charge. Users have the right to read, download, reproduce, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other legal purpose, without requiring prior authorization from the publisher or the author.

Creative Commons License
The articles are published under the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

Self-Archiving Conditions:
Authors are authorized to reuse their published works, meaning they may archive the post-print (the final version after author revisions or the publisher’s PDF version) for non-commercial purposes, including storage in institutional or thematic repositories or personal websites.

Target Audience
It is aimed at students, professionals, academics, scientists, and the general public, both nationally and globally.

Publication Dates
As a quarterly journal, it will publish four volumes annually, as specified below:

  • January – April
  • May – August
  • September – December

Types of Works
The following types of works may be submitted:

  • Original Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Conference Communications
  • Letters to the Editor
  • State-of-the-Art Reports
  • Book Reviews

These works must be original and must not have been published in whole or in part in any printed or electronic medium, nor can they be submitted simultaneously to other publications.

Digital Preservation Policies
The Pensagora MD Scientific Journal utilizes OJS (Open Journal System) as a storage system to ensure its digital preservation.

The journal assigns a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to each article, managed by Crossref, which serves as a permanent identifier. This ensures proper identification and prevents issues related to changes in the URL or similar difficulties in locating the content.

PKP Preservation Network (PN)
The PKP Preservation Network (PN) provides free preservation services for any OJS journal that meets the basic criteria.

In this regard, for digital preservation purposes, the articles of the Pensagora MD Scientific Journal are archived in LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), ensuring a permanent and secure archive for the journal.

LOCKSS
Open Journal Systems, which hosts the Pensagora MD Scientific Journal, is compatible with the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, ensuring a permanent and secure archive for the journal.

LOCKSS is an open-source program developed by the Stanford University Library, allowing libraries to preserve selected web journals by regularly checking registered journals to collect newly published content and archive it. Each archive is continuously validated with records from other libraries, ensuring that any damaged or lost content can be restored using those records or the original journal itself.

CLOCKSS
Open Journal Systems also supports the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a permanent and secure archive for the journal.

CLOCKSS is based on the open-source LOCKSS software developed at the Stanford University Library, allowing libraries to preserve selected web journals by regularly checking the websites of registered journals for newly published content and archiving it. Each archive is continuously validated against other library caches, and if content is found to be corrupted or lost, it is restored using other caches or the original journal.

CLOCKSS stores and distributes journal content to participating libraries through the CLOCKSS Publisher page.

The Pensagora MD Scientific Journal is also fully available and open access in various databases, ensuring proper identification and preventing localization issues due to URL changes or similar issues. Finally, the journal publishes each article in both HTML and PDF formats, allowing for export and ensuring accessibility now and in the future.
